Almos getting there…
Medellin is home of the central viventura office, organising international sales, marketing and finance. It¨s also known to be the party capital of Colombia. So the "weekend" stop of this tour had to be Medellin! Later we were told. While flying to Colombia the Bachelor Party had started. Andre¨s colleagues in the Medellin Office had put an incredible stupid costume on. )Pictures won_t be published here..) After collecting 50 messages from ladies around Medellin the local viventura crowd headed to the airport to pick us up… Well, the main part of the group would never arrive, as we arrived late in Bogota and had to stay an extra night in Bogota. So the Medellin adventure had to wait another day …

Welcome to the Caribean
After the unplanned night in Bogota we finally got to Medellin in the morning. As time was tight we just saw a few highlights. In the morning we visited Sabaneta, the suburb Adriana & Andre were living in. We had a typical breakfast there. Once filled we took public transport to get to the city center, famous for the park of the "fat ones": the corpulent figures from Fernando Botero. At the Santo Domingo suburb we had an inside view of daily life in Medellins street and enjoying the view. We finished our little tour in the "Pueblito Paisa" on top of the Nutibara mountain. Another flight, stopping in Bogota once again, took us to the Caribbean sea, now the relaxing part of could start! We had a couple of beers at a beach bar, before some dipped into Santa Martas night live visiting "la Escollera" Disco, owned by well known Carlos Vives.

This is paradise: Tayrona
During this tour we made Andre & Adriana work hard. Everyday they had to solve a new task. Todays task was to proof, that Andre could provide food for his future family and Adriana could prepare it… (and this not bz getting food at the supermarket). So off we went to Tayrona National Park. A coastal park famous for it's beautiful beaches. Once arrived, most of us headed to the the beaches to enjoy the water. Some of us joined Andre for the hunt of food. Guido caught the first crab, Nicole got a potato and Grubi got two coconuts. The tasks was almost done, but then we met Carlos, the fishermen from the next bay. He taught us how to fish and after a while we got a huge Purrel fish. For dinner we went to the restaurant next to our lodges. While Adriana was preparing the fish the rest waited and waited. It seems, the nicer the beaches the slower the service. It was our lust supper at this restaurant. The big highlight was Adrianas fish, we all could have a bite…

Along the coast to Cartagena

Day of the Wedding
After a another short night and a very nice breakfast the man went for a pedicure. A strange feeling to sit in a nailstudio:-) After our nails were treated Miguel,Henrik and Guido returned to the tailor to pick up their fitted smokings. If you didn't look too closely they fitted perfectly:-) Now most of us were relaxing at the pool or had a round of sleep before we went to the wedding. In the afternoon a bus took us to the village of Giron where the wedding took place. It was a wonderful wedding although we didn't understand everything. After the wedding we went to a Finca where the big party took place, with lovely food , lot's of Rum,Salsa and Britney Spears. We celebrated till 2 o' clock in the morning. We carried on in the Hotel Bar before some of us get to the airport for their flight back to europe or to some islands. It was a very nice week with lots of impressions and very nice new friends from all over the world. thanks to everyone and hope to see you somerwhere again. all the best for your future adriana and andré
